The Manuscript Critique
A manuscript critique is a general report on how effective a novel is overall. Think of it as a diagnostic review--helping you identify what's working and what needs attention before diving into deeper revisions.

Critiques address such questions as:
-
What are the manuscript's strengths?
-
Where might readers lose interest or get confused?
-
Does the story open with a compelling hook?
-
Is the story using a narrative structure that works?
-
Is the plot engaging and clear?
-
Are the characters believable and dynamic?
-
Are the themes and messages coming through effectively?
-
Does the story have a satisfying ending?
-
What should be the primary focus of revision work?
